How this collection works

This is a themed shortlist, not the full catalogue and not an ordered route. Each linked place has to pass the publication gate, and the grouping uses stored collection rules rather than star ratings, review counts or paid placement.

Good to know

Where is the best sunset in Bali?

The west and south-west coast: Uluwatu's cliffs, the Canggu and Seminyak beaches, and Jimbaran Bay. The east coast (Sanur) faces sunrise, so it isn't in this list. Arrive early in peak season for the front-row tables.
