Best things to do in Nusa Dua
Nusa Dua reads as a resort strip, but there's a real half-day or two out here: a walkable seafront, a natural coastal spectacle, a clifftop temple, a serious art museum, an evening show and the watersports peninsula next door. Calm, easy, family-safe — the enclave at its best.
Walk the beachfront promenade
Central · Nusa Dua Beach
A paved coastal path (commonly cited at around 5 km) runs behind the beachfront and links the resorts, beaches and public access points. The defining low-effort Nusa Dua ritual — flat, shaded in parts and genuinely walkable, which is rare in south Bali.
Watch the Water Blow
Peninsula Island · near The St. Regis
A natural attraction on the enclave's eastern tip where Indian Ocean swells surge into a gap in the limestone cliffs and spray upward. There's a wooden viewing deck; open daily roughly 9am–5pm with a nominal entrance fee.
Geger Beach & Pura Geger
South · near Mulia
The quieter, more local beach at the south end, with the clifftop Pura Geger temple above it. One of the few South Bali spots where traditional seaweed farming still shows at low tide — swim at high tide, wander the temple (sarong etiquette) outside ceremony days.
Museum Pasifika
Central · Bali Collection (Block P)
An art museum holding a large Asia–Pacific collection — paintings and sculpture from Indonesia, the Pacific, Polynesia and Indochina, plus European artists who worked in the region (Le Mayeur, Theo Meier). Themed rooms; open daily, roughly 10am–6pm.
Tanjung Benoa watersports
North peninsula · Tanjung Benoa
The peninsula just north is Bali's motorised-watersports hub, working from a calm reef-sheltered lagoon: parasailing, jet ski, banana boat, flyboard, sea walker and more. The shallow water keeps it beginner- and family-friendly.
Glass-bottom boat to Turtle Island (Pulau Penyu)
North · departs Tanjung Benoa
A standard Tanjung Benoa half-day trip: a glass-bottom boat over the shallows to a turtle conservation island in Benoa harbour, where you can see sea turtles and other animals. An easy add-on to a watersports morning.

A theatrical stage production — traditional and contemporary Indonesian dance, aerial acrobatics, costume and illusion, themed around the archipelago (Bali, Java, Sumatra, Borneo, Papua). Runs Mon/Wed/Fri/Sat at 7.30pm; book ahead.
Bali Collection
Central · ITDC complex
The enclave's open-air shopping-and-dining complex — fashion outlets, restaurants, spas and services, with occasional cultural performances and a free shuttle loop serving the Nusa Dua and Tanjung Benoa resorts.
Puja Mandala
Inland · Bualu / Kampial
A single compound of five side-by-side places of worship — mosque, Catholic church, Protestant church, Buddhist vihara and Hindu temple — built as a symbol of religious harmony. A short, quietly striking stop just inland from the resorts.
The short version
One easy day: a morning on the promenade and Mengiat Beach, the Water Blow, and Museum Pasifika at the Bali Collection, with the Devdan Show in the evening. Add a day: a calmer beach morning at Geger and its temple, then a watersports session or the glass-bottom boat to Turtle Island over at Tanjung Benoa. Low-adrenaline by design — that's the point of Nusa Dua.
